Merry Christmas and very warm wishes to all of you! Let this holydays bring very grounded peace, love and joy for everyone. At Gomde Ukraine we love Christmas stories, hope you do so too. So why don’t you help us one happens?

Of course, to build the first Buddhist temple in Ukraine remains our main goal. But this 2020 year we also dream about one small house restoration. Why do we think this is a good Christmas story?

Well, because even a small house can make big difference at our Gomde. You may already have heard that our retreat center has more than a dozen of ruined houses. But none of it can serve a shelter for retreatants who come here to meditate and volunteers who join us to help. So restoring only one house makes big use and helps many goals: a shrine hall, a bedroom for almost 20 people, a kitchen, a storeroom, a running water system, a heater, a summer meditation pavilion for 300 people, toilets and shower cabins.

+ facade heat insulation 4 092 USD

+ windows and doors 3 848 USD

+ summer meditation pavilion 10 345 USD

Finally, our volunteers, young artists, created special greeting cards to tell our Christmas stores with the language of art and design.
