On March 29, 2026 (Sunday) at 3:00 PM Kyiv time, the Rangjung Yeshe Ukraine Buddhist community invites you to a free, open Zoom event with Phakchok Rinpoche and Sophie Wu, celebrating the Ukrainian publication of their book Awakening Dignity: A Guide to Living a Life of Deep Fulfillment (Ukrainian edition).

This event is truly special for the Ukrainian audience: it will be Phakchok Rinpoche’s first open meeting with our community. At a time when only a few Buddhist teachers address Ukrainians directly during russia’s war against Ukraine, the opportunity to receive teachings specifically for our community is rare and joyful.

About the book

Awakening Dignity is a conversation about inner dignity as a source of support—something we do not need to “earn” through achievements or external approval. From a Buddhist perspective, dignity is already present in the nature of mind. From this ground arise resilience, clarity, compassion, and the ability to live fully and meaningfully even in difficult circumstances. The book is written in an accessible language while rooted in the depth of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

Estimated duration: 90 minutes.

We expect Rinpoche to speak about the book and offer a teaching. There will be time for Q&A at the end.

The event will include consecutive interpretation from English into Ukrainian. Interpreter: Anna Vakhotska.
