New Herbal Tea Collection from Gomde Ukraine

Autumn is the season of warmth — when a cup of tea feels like a little light glowing in your hands.
This year, we’ve prepared a new 2025 line of herbal blends:
🌿 Forest Power, ☀️ Sun Power, 💫 Harmony Power.
All herbs are hand-picked in the pristine forests of northern Ukraine around Gomde Ukraine, slowly dried by natural air and carefully milled to preserve their full aroma and energy.
You can enjoy them while visiting our retreat center — we serve these teas to our guests and retreat participants — or order them online (form at the end of the post).
Each tea comes with its own story, character, and original recipe to reveal the natural power within.

🌲 Forest Power — Breathe Freely

A blend to support your breathing and bring ease in the cold season.
Ingredients: pine buds, thyme, oregano, willowherb, linden, chamomile, heather.
Best enjoyed warm in the evening with honey, before sleep, or after a walk in the fresh air.
Forest Embrace:
1 tbsp per 300 ml of hot water, steep for 15 min, add honey — the aroma feels like being wrapped in forest air.
Forest Inhalation:
Use the infusion for a 5-minute steam — add a drop of pine or fir essential oil for a real forest breath.

☀️ Sun Power — Taste Freely

For balance and digestion, supporting the liver and metabolism.
Ingredients: nettle, everlasting flower, St. John’s wort, mint, willowherb, linden, chamomile, heather, thyme.
Best enjoyed during the day, ideally not later than two hours before sleep.
Morning Start:
1 tbsp per 300 ml of hot water, steep for 10 min, add honey and lemon — a gentle boost for the day.
Golden Milk:
Boil 200 ml of milk, add 1 tbsp of tea and 100 ml of hot water, steep 10 min, add a pinch of cinnamon — a creamy afternoon comfort drink.

💫 Harmony Power — Feel Freely

A daily vitamin-rich blend for balance and relaxation.
Ingredients: raspberry and blackberry leaves and flowers, nettle, oregano, heather, mint, St. John’s wort.
A soft, nourishing tea, especially good in the evening.
Berry Evening:
1 tbsp per 300 ml hot water, steep 15 min, add blackcurrant jam — rich, calming, and heartwarming.
Warm Tonic:
Add ginger and honey to the infusion — a caffeine-free “mulled wine” for quiet evenings.

🌸 Fermented Willowherb — The Polissya Gift

This unique tea combines the smoothness of herbs with the depth of traditional teas — but naturally caffeine-free.
Through natural fermentation, the leaves develop a rich, honey-woody aroma with light fruity notes.
Loved by our ancestors as the “tea of peace,” willowherb brings gentle energy, calmness, and clarity of mind.
It’s not an alternative to black or green tea — it’s another world entirely: simple, deep, and close to nature.
Polissya Morning:
1 tsp per 250 ml, steep for 10 min — best enjoyed with toasted rye bread and butter.
Spiced Evening:
Add cinnamon and clove to the brew, steep 5 min — a soothing and grounding drink.

Did You Know?

• Thyme contains thymol — a natural antiseptic once used to purify homes; now studied for its antibacterial qualities. You’ll find plenty of it in Forest Power.
• Nettle has twice as much vitamin C as lemons, plus iron and chlorophyll — key to recovery and vitality.
• St. John’s wort naturally uplifts mood, thanks to hypericin — a “light regulator” for the nervous system.
• Fermented willowherb has up to 3x more antioxidants than green tea and no caffeine — it’s becoming a true “super tea of the 21st century.”

Folk Legends & Lore

• Oregano was once called “the herb of joy” — believed to ward off sadness and bring peaceful dreams.
• Heather, sacred to the Celts and Ukrainians alike, symbolized endurance and purity of the land.
• Linden was a tree of protection — its blossoms brewed as tea or used to wash children “for a gentle soul.”
• Nettle was burned on midsummer fires to protect from evil and illness — a plant of strength and cleansing.
• Mint symbolized freshness and clarity — in ancient Greece used for garlands at feasts, in Ukraine for peace at home.
