Samye Institute has announced its ninth annual S\u0101dhana Ritual Course<\/strong><\/p>\n

This course will focus on the Trinley Nyingpo<\/i> and Pema Khandro<\/i> s\u0101dhana practices from the lineage of the New Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa (Chokling Tersar). The main points of practice, including ritual traditions of chant melodies, mudr\u0101s, torma, shrine arrangements, and musical instruments, will be taught in Tibetan by Lama Sherab Dorje, a senior lama of\u00a0Ka-nying Shedrub Ling monastery,\u00a0and translated into English.<\/p>\n

Main objective is for non-Tibetan practitioners to be able to learn and practice the Vajray\u0101na ritual tradition in a genuine and thorough way.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Tukdrup Trinley Nyingpo<\/i> s\u0101dhana (the Yoga of Essential Activity from Accomplishing the Guru\u2019s Wisdom Mind, Dispeller of All Obstacles<\/i>) and the Pema Khandro<\/i> (from the Three Roots of the Profundity of Longevity Cycle<\/i>) are both deeply profound practices that were revealed by the Great Treasure Revealer, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. The Trinley Nyingpo <\/i>is the condensed s\u0101dhana for the accomplishment of the twelve manifestations of Guru Rinpoche according to Accomplishing the Guru\u2019s Wisdom Mind, Dispeller of all Obstacles <\/i>(Tukdrup Barchey K\u00fcnsel<\/i>). The Pema Khandro <\/i>is the magnetizing \u1e0d\u0101kin\u012b practice belonging to theThree Roots of the Profundity of Longevity Cycle<\/i>, among the Seven Cycles of Profundity <\/i>(Zabpa Khord\u00fcn<\/i>).<\/p>\n

This course will be held at a Buddhist retreat center near Narayantan, Kathmandu. The necessary empowerments and reading transmissions for these practices will be given at the beginning of the course by Kyabg\u00f6n Phakchok Rinpoche, possibly on Nov. 27, so please arrive in Kathmandu by Nov. 26.<\/b><\/p>\n
